68 Hour Class
Adequate Heartbeats, LLC covers the following material:
40 hours of online classroom curriculum
20 hours of supervised skills practice in medication administration to residents of an assisted living facility.
An eight-hour supervised hands on training in facilitating client self-administration or assisting with the administration of insulin to include instruction and skills practice in the administration of insulin as specified in the board-approved curriculum.
This class is virtual both day and night for two weeks and lab is done in person. The online course consists of videos and quizzes. Scrub colors for clinical Navy Blue top and Navy-Blue bottom.
Next Class is 11/11/24
Clinical and skills lab will be done in person, at the school on 11/13/24, 9am to 2pm. Clinical is held the second week of class on Wednesday 11/20/24, Thursday 11/21/24 and Friday 11/22/24 7am to 3pm.
We offer evening and weekend day clinical options.
We offer payment plan with just $200 down to hold your spot. Your next payment of $200 is due the first day of class. The remaining $250 is due on Monday, the final week of class.

32 Hour Medication Aide Class Hybrid
The 32 Hour Medication Aide Class prepares individuals to administer medications within Group Homes, Residential Living Facilities. This course covers in depth diabetic training. Also students will learn how to read and transcribe doctors orders, how to properly document medication administration plus more.
Student will be provided with a certificate of completion once the skills session and coursework is completed.
Certificates will be given out on the last day of class.
Prequisites:
CNA
DIRECT CARE AIDE.

What are the requirements to gain entry into the Medication Aide Program?
1. Identification Card/ Driver’s License
2. One of the following certificates:
a) Virginia Department of Social Services approved 40-Hr Direct Patient Care program.
b) Virginia Board of Nursing approved Nurse Aide Certificate.
3. TB Test
4. Obtain a Background Check

You must pay the deposit or the class in full to have your spot held. Please read all instructions on the form before payment. The form gives you the option to select the date of the class that you want to attend, what clinical time you would like to attend and and what day of the week you would like to attend clinical. Our admissions team will be in touch with you to finish enrolling you for the course. Adequate Heartbeats uses Paypal for payment. You do NOT need to make an account with Paypal in order to pay. You would simply choose the pay with a debit or credit card at the bottom of the payment page. Please see pictures with instructions.
Upon completion of course, all students will receive:
1.68 Hour Medication Aide Certificate of Completion.
2.Skills Competency Checklist.
3.Candidate Information Bulletin from PSI.
